"Youth Action on AIDS" Funding Scheme 2002
The "Youth Action on AIDS" Funding Scheme is run by the Task Force on Youth of the AIDS Prevention and Care Committee with the aim of encouraging and mobilizing young people to organise educational and publicity projects on AIDS. The Scheme was launched since 1991. Up to December 2001, a total of 195 projects have been supported under the Funding Scheme. It was estimated that there were more than 310,000 young people had get directly covered by these projects and learn more about AIDS.
Youth groups comprising at least five members each are invited to take part in the "Youth Action on AIDS" Funding Scheme for 2002. Each successful group applicant will be given a subsidy of not more than $8,000 to implement its proposed programme. For enquiries, please call at telephone 2304 6268.
