AIDS Preventive Programme for MSM*
According to the information from the press release by the Department of Health on 14 Feb 2006, there was a rising trend of HIV infection among MSM group.
In order to enhance the AIDS preventive works for MSM, the "Red Ribbon in Action" AIDS Education Funding Scheme is now launching a Special round of the Funding Scheme#. Applications are welcomed from all community groups.
Priority will be given to proposals or projects containing the following elements:
- To increase the knowledge of AIDS for MSM
- To promote safer sex among MSM
- To increase the accessibility of condom for MSM
- To promote HIV testing among MSM
- Details of the "Red Ribbon in Action" AIDS Education Funding Scheme
Remark :
*MSM - Men who have sex with men
#Special round of the Funding Scheme - only projects / proposals
on HIV prevention and AIDS education for the MSM group will be accepted
for application in this special round.
