Seminar to GP on 29 August 2013 - Update on HIV Infection, Treatment and Prevention

The number of newly diagnosed HIV infections is rising every year. Primary care practitioners have a unique and pivotal role in promoting HIV prevention, offering testing and providing referral services to their clients.

The epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and health care services of HIV infection have undergone dramatic changes over the past three decades. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in the field is vital to providing quality services to clients. In light of the above, DH is collaborating with the Hong Kong Medical Association (HKMA) and non-governmental organisations to hold a seminar "Update on HIV Infection, Treatment and Prevention" on 29 August 2013 at HKMA's Central premises.
