Video Show on "Prevention", "Early Detection, Early Treatment"
The Red Ribbon Centre, a resource centre on the prevention of HIV/AIDS, will be launching an education campaign featuring a video show on 'Prevention, early detection and early treatment' of HIV infection. This campaign is in response to the recent advances of treatment of HIV infection. Medications introduced in the last two years have a remarkable effect on progression of the disease, especially if started early in the course of the infection.
In the periods, 24 Jul to 3 Sep,1998; 25 Sep to 8 Oct,1998; 18 Dec,1998 to 14 Jan,1999, the video show will be broadcast through the Lo Wu Station TV Advertising System; viewing areas include both the Platform and Departure Hall.
